No hurry

Debbie Lewis - No hurry

The second in a series of three mindful poems from Debbie Lewis. More of the wonderful observation that we saw in ‘Down by the water‘.

Breeze rustling through the trees,
Grass sways as if alive,
Washing flapping on the line,
Sunshine glinting reflecting its light.

Puffy white clouds sail by,
Not hurrying at all today,
Meandering across bright blue sky,
Slowly onwards with their journey.

A calm and pleasant day,
Replacing yesterday’s windy storm,
Birds tweet above the roof,
Cat snoozing in the sunshine.
